Dr Fay Callaghan graduated from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne in the north east of England in 2005 and spent 10 years working in various parts of the UK before emigrating over to Australia with her husband in 2015. They spent the first 5 years in Sydney before relocating to Queensland in 2019 and are very happy to now call Brisbane home together with their son who was born in 2021.
Dr Callaghan's main interests in dentistry include cosmetic work such as veneers (composite and ceramic), crowns and short term orthodontics (cosmetic braces and clear aligners). She also enjoys restoring worn teeth to give patients improved function as well as a new smile they can be truly proud of. Patients are often surprised by how painless modern dentistry is these days with all the technology and materials we have available to us and that just makes her job even more satisfying.
Outside of dentistry, Dr Callaghan's two big passions are travel and food. She loves going to new places, experiencing different cultures and discovering new restaurants. She is a keen snowboarder and horse rider and both of these have taken her to some amazing places around the world. Music is also a huge part of her life and she plays the violin and piano – the perfect escapism after a hard day’s work.
