Dr David Sims

Hello, my name is Dr. David Sims and I have over thirty-five years of experience creating beautiful smiles and healthy teeth. I love when my patients can truly smile with confidence. I am proud to be known by my patients for my caring nature, gentle and understanding approach and my dedication to high quality dental care. I have a reputation for clear communication and I try to avoid ‘dental speak’ at all costs! I welcome questions and believe that the more you know about your dental condition and the reasons for any treatment suggested, the better your future health will be. I will take the time to understand your goals and any concerns you may have, then together we will carefully plan and discuss the different options we have available. I truly understand that your hopes for your smile and dental health are as unique as you are yourself. I am committed to further education and have special interests in smile makeovers, cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics including Invisalign, complex restorative dentistry, occlusal rehabilitation, advanced prosthodontics, and implantology. I have been inducted as a Fellow of the International College of Dental Education (Orthodontics). For several years I worked in private practice whilst also holding a position as Clinical Demonstrator at LaTrobe Dental School before concentrating all my time on clinical dentistry. I maintain memberships of the Australian Dental Association, and the ADA Northern Group. I have a beautiful wife, three daughters, two step daughters and seven wonderful grandchildren. I enjoy walking, swimming, travelling, reading, and watching movies.
