John graduated as an optometrist in 1983 and has undertaken additional training in paediatric and behavioural optometry. Heis a member of the Australian College of Behavioural Optometrists, a body whose goal is to develop and enhance the skills needed to achieve a more effective visual performance at work and play. He is currently in the middle of completing his Fellowship in Behavioural Optometry.John enjoys working with children and helping those who experience learning difficult. He also enjoys the satisfaction of general Optometric practice. His interests are cycling , Saxophone(music) and is involved at Humeridge Church of Christ.
