NDIS Report
Chris started his study in Bachelor of Science and Biomedical Engineering at the University of Sydney. Halfway through the course, he found his passion for body function and health. Deciding that a career in Physiotherapy was a perfect fit, he pursued his Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree at the Australian Catholic University, completing it in 2018.
His interest in human body mechanics drives him to find the cause of the problem and treat it from its roots. His aim is not only to relieve symptoms, but also address the root cause. He has a special interest in back and neck pain - something that he has personally experienced and recovered from.
Chris works hard to provide patient-centred care to help individual patients achieve their health goals. He believes in a holistic approach, caring for the patient’s physical and psycho-social needs. This involves hands-on treatment and exercise-based rehabilitation to improve his clients' quality of life and fast track their return to work/sport.
Outside of work, Chris loves skiing, training at the gym, playing golf and cooking. On weekends, he enjoys cooking Korean dishes for his wife, Annie. He's also a qualified ski instructor, undertaking training in Canada during his gap year.
Chris applies a variety of hands-on treatment techniques which include:
- McKenzie Method
- Mulligan's Concept
- Maitland's Concept
- Joint Manipulation
- Sports Taping
Chris is a Korean speaking Physiotherapist and can provide services for those who require consultations in Korean.
