Dr Giffin graduated from the University of Sydney in 1987. Enjoying the procedural and acute side of Medicine, the next 17 yrs were spent in various Emergency and Intensive care departments both in Australia and Britain. Moving to the Sunshine coast in 2004 and continuing a procedural focus he embarked on a career centered around the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer. Dr Giffin obtained his Advanced Diploma of Skin cancer Medicine and Surgery in 2013. Outside of work he is busy surfing, fishing and keeping his teenage children entertained!
