How do I sign up and start using Openpay?

Sign up is easy! Simply download the Openpay app from the Apple App store or the Google Play store , and sign up.

Does Openpay really charge no interest?

Openpay’s plans are always interest-free.

What About Fees?

Establishment fees and plan management fees may be applicable – these will be disclosed to you before your plan is finalised, as they vary from merchant to merchant. If a payment is not made by its scheduled date, a late fee of $9.50 will apply. These fees are also outlined in the email sent to you on confirmation of your purchase.

Openpay understands that there are times when you may not be able to make a payment. Please contact Openpay on 1300 168 359 before your payment date to learn about your options to reschedule the payment and avoid late fees.

How Much Can I Spend With Openpay?

The limit may vary from merchant to merchant. It also depends on your financial circumstances. If you’re having trouble placing an order with Openpay, try placing an order for a lower amount.

How Can I Apply For A Higher Limit?

If you require more than your available spending limit, you can apply for a higher amount from the Openpay app. From the app homepage, simply tap ‘Get Pre-Approved for more’.

Openpay will review the application, and if you have been pre-approved, you will soon receive a confirmation email with the details of your new limit.

Can I Open Multiple Openpay Plans?

Absolutely! You can open multiple plans for separate purchases, up to your available spending limit. The available spending limit can be viewed on the home screen of your app. This limit can be used to make purchases at participating Openpay merchants.

Yes, protecting your information is very important to Openpay. Openpay is a Level 1 PCI DSS Compliant Provider. This means that all card data is encrypted and we maintain stringent physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect your information.

Does Openpay Perform A Credit Check?

Depending on the purchase amount you are making, you may be asked to consent to a credit check. In those instances, your consent will be clearly requested before a credit check is performed and your Openpay plan is created. Please note, this will lodge a credit check which may impact your credit score.

How Do I Make Payments?

Openpay take payments automatically on your scheduled date. If you would like to pay back earlier, you can do this free of charge via your Openpay app or with the Openpay Customer Service team.

When Will My Next Payment Be Due?

Openpay's plans are made up of fortnightly instalments. Your first instalment is paid on the day at checkout, where you can then customise your second instalment date (up to 14 days later). All remaining instalments will come out a fortnight apart. If you need to reschedule any payment dates, give the Openpay Customer Service team a call to learn about your options.

Can I Pay Off My Plan Early?

Absolutely! You can make early repayments on the Openpay app or with the friendly Openpay customer service team on 1300 168 359 . Please note, no early payment penalties will apply.

Can I Use A Bank Account For Repayments?

No, payments can only be made with a Visa or Mastercard Debit or Credit Card.

I Missed A Payment, What Should I Do?

No worries. You can manually make a payment on a late instalment via the Openpay app. You can also call the Openpay Customer Service team on 1300 168 159 .
