    Dr. David Holcombe graduated from the University of Queensland Medical School with a combined MBBS PhD. The topic of his PhD was retinal neuroprotection. During the period of his PhD, he tutored medical students at the University of Queensland. Dr Holcombe did his residency years at the Royal Brisbane Hospital before being selected for the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmology training program in Melbourne. He undertook two years of basic ophthalmology training, followed by two years of advanced training, and a further year of subspecialisation in the areas of cataract surgery, medical retina, and eyelid surgery. Dr Holcombe then relocated back to South East Queensland to establish his practice at 20 Goggs Street, Toowoomba with the aim of providing the very best for his patients and their vision with excellence in knowledge, equipment, and facilities and a caring friendly environment.
