He comes from a background of football and music theatre, performing with local amateur production companies. Josh enjoys working with sports people across the full spectrum of participation: from elite athletes to social participants for both injury prevention and improved conditioning. Josh Ferguson joined The Sports injury Clinic as a Sports Physiotherapist and has recently been appointed the physiotherapist for the Canadian Hockey Team and hopes to accompany them to the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. Josh also works with The Victorian Institute Of Sport Hockey team as well as the VIS U21’s Hockey Team. She gained a passion for orthopaedics and women’s health there and started in Private Practice at TSIC in 2006. In 2009 Lynda became the physiotherapist for the Victorian Women’s Cricket team the VicSpirit where she was able to combine her private practice work with her love of the game of cricket. Lynda loves cricket and soccer (or football to those who enjoy the world game!) and prides herself on keeping people playing sport through injury if they are able. Lynda has a special interest in pregnancy, treating post prenatal and post natal and has found she can relate much better since the births of her two children! After a stint of playing Cricket in England James returned to Deakin to continue his study in a field that he has always had a great passion for … FOOD. James completed his Bachelor of Applied Science in Nutrition/Food Science in 2006 where he then picked up a graduate position at multinational company Kraft Foods. Lite n’ Easy was the next step in James’ career as a Nutritionist/Food Scientist and after a short stint working in large scale weight loss programs James decided to continue his studies to incorporate his two great passions together, Food & Exercise. James completed his Certificate III & IV in fitness and began Personal Training in conjunction with his Nutrition Consultations in 2008. Due to a sporting career beset by major injury (knee & shoulder reconstructive surgery along with persistent fast bowlers back and groin & abdominal pain) James began specialising in return from injury training and sports specific performance training. This led him to fully sinking his teeth into his studies and completing his Masters degree in Exercise Rehabilitation from Victoria University in 2011 whilst gathering a multitude of experience working alongside the Exercise Physiologists & Physiotherapists at The Sports Injury Clinic. James has been close to the Frankston sporting community for many years with over 15 years service to the Frankston Peninsula Cricket Club including life membership and has also been recognised as part of Victorian Premier Cricket’s elite players, having been selected 3 times in their Team Of The Season. James made a successful move from FPCC to Prahran cricket club for the 2013/2014 season, culminating in him being inducted into the Premier Cricket Team Of The Season for the 4th time as well as being awarded the Jack Ryder Medal as the competitions outstanding player. Apart from working at TSIC, Dirk is working as a Strength and Conditioning Coach with the Sandringham Football Club (VFL). The following year, he went on to complete his Graduate Diploma in Clinical Exercise Physiology at the same university. In a short time, Jamie has clocked up an impressive CV with experience in a range of health setting. This experience includes; North Ballarat Football Club (Rehabilitation Coordinator, Strength and Conditioning Assistant, Sports Trainer and Runner from 2009-2013), Colac Area Health (Allied Health Assistant in acute hospital and community health settings in 2013), and the Ballarat and District Aboriginal Cooperative (Exercise Physiologist in 2013).     Sue completed a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Melbourne with majors in Psychology and Human Movement Studies. She then completed a Diploma of Education and taught at Ruyton Girls school for several years, whilst studying a Graduate Diploma in Child and Adolescent Psychology at the University of Melbourne. Sue then lectured in the Psychology Department at Monash University whilst completing a Masters in Applied Psychology with a major in Sport Psychology. Shortly after, she completed a Diploma in Solution Oriented Hypnotherapy. Sue then set up her private practice and has worked on the Mornington Peninsula for 20 years. She has several areas of interest, including the psychological management of chronic pain; stress, anxiety and depression; and adapting to major life changes and events. Apart from studying, Sue enjoys running and going to the gym, riding her horse, and watching her children play sport. Sue has lived on the Peninsula for over 40 years and loves the lifestyle, freedom and open space of her small farm.
