I am a General Cardiologist and Cardiac Imaging Specialist. I welcome referrals for all cardiac conditions and have a special interest in the management of chest pain, chest pain in women, inflammatory conditions of the heart and cardio-oncology.
I am one of Australia’s most well trained and highly qualified non-interventional cardiologists, being one of a few experts in all cardiac imaging modalities.
I am the Head of Cardiac Imaging at Peninsula Health and one of only a few cardiologists with formal training in all cardiac imaging modalities (Echocardiography, CT, MRI, and Nuclear cardiology). I am passionate about the appropriate use of cardiac imaging and was invited to address the US Congress on “Appropriate Use Criteria in Cardiac Imaging” in 2014.
I am actively involved in research, teaching and examining for the RACP physician exams and Monash University medical school. I hold an adjunct appointment at Monash University.
