1) Eligibility criteria set by Medicare for eligible children between 2-17 years, please refer to the Medicare CDBS page if you have any queries or call us on 5672 1948 prior to making your appointment.
2) Vouchers are issued at the discretion of the public hospital directly to patients based on their criteria.
3) You must hold a current Miners' Dispensary membership card. There is 2 wait on dental services.
Dr Teresa (Terrie) Ko completed her Bachelor of Health Sciences in Dentistry/Master of Dentistry at La Trobe University, Bendigo.
Throughout, she completed placement in a number of rural towns in Victoria, tending to the dental needs of a variety of patients.
She thrives to ensure each patient’s visit to the dentist is non-stressful and involves patients in their treatment plan to provide the best of care.
Outside of dentistry, she enjoys watching the tennis and playing board games.
Dr Michael Looi completed his Bachelor of Health Science/Masters of Dentistry at Latrobe University, Bendigo and has experience working in a number of regional towns in Victoria.
He believes firmly in educating each of his patients to ensure they are able to make informed decisions about their oral health and help prevent new problems from occurring.
When he's not working you'll find him out on the golf course despite his lack of talent.
Dr Linda Huang completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery at James Cook University, Cairns. She has a broad range of clinical experience, having provided dental care in both Queensland and Northern Territory.
Dr Linda is committed to providing holistic dental care in a professional, gentle and relaxing manner. She aims to find a solution that both empowers her patients and suits their needs. During her spare time, Dr Linda enjoys going on cooking adventures with her friends and family.
Dr Linda is also fluent in English and Mandarin.
Dr Frank Noronha completed his Bachelor of Dental Science at the University of Melbourne. With almost 30 years of experience, he brings a wealth of knowledge to his patients. He also has over 20 years experience in Orthodontics and uses the latest techniques including fixed braces and the less invasive Invisalign.
In his spare time, he enjoys travel and dining with friends & family.
Dr Noronha is also fluent in Mandarin & Cantonese.
Dr Martin Nguyen completed his Bachelor of Health Sciences in Dentistry/ Master of Dentistry from La Trobe University.
Martin believes in the importance of oral health to general wellbeing. He endeavors to provide comprehensive dental treatment with a strong focus in equipping patients with the necessary skills and confidence to manage and improve their oral health.
Martin is an active member of the broader dental community and is currently serving as a committee member for the Australian Dental Association Victorian Branch.
Outside of work you can find Martin experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen or hitting the slopes in the winter months.
Dr Vandana Budhwar completed her dental degree in 2004. Following graduation, she worked at The Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne as an 'Emergency Registrar' for 3 years.
Dr Budhwar has also practiced extensively in private practice across country Victoria and metropolitan Melbourne. She has taught and demonstrated to dental students at the University of Melbourne, and has completed a Post Graduate Clinical Diploma in Implantology.
Vandana is committed to delivering quality, evidence based comprehensive dental care to her patients and she has a special interest in periodontal and implant regenerative therapies, soft tissue grafting and reconstructive dental surgery.
Outside of dentistry Vandana enjoys spending time with her young family, keeping fit and reading historical fiction.
