Dr Lye is one of the most renowned skin cancer doctors in Australia with qualifications in Medicine, Surgery, & Dermatology from universities in Sydney, Monash & Cardiff UK, and is a lecturer at University of Sydney. He serves as Hearing Member for the Medical Council of NSW, and NCAT Medical Tribunals. In the past, Dr Lye has sat on committees for the NSW Cancer Institute and NSW Melanoma Network, he's been a visiting clinician at the Sydney Melanoma Unit Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, and is a member of the Skin Cancer College Australasia and the AMA. He has assisted in clinical trials for the Melanoma Vaccine, Selective Lymphadectomy, and SolarScan. Dr Lye was one of the first doctors in Australia to use analogue & digital dermoscopy, and he has been an adviser to government, legal firms, and companies such as SBS Broadcasting and State Transit Authority.
