At Burnside Medical Centre, we strive to provide optimal care to our patients and the health of patients is our first priority.
Circumstances regarding COVID 19 are rapidly changing. We, at Burnside Medical Centre, are updated daily by Federal and State health officials in relation to the pandemic and have processes in place to ensure your health needs are met in a safe and secure environment in our clinic.
BURNSIDE MEDICAL CENTRE remains open for all the provisions of all of our health services.
Importantly, we are able to offer you consultations via TELEHEALTH (via telephone or video) meaning that you can attend to many of your health needs from you home. In most cases, these consultations can be bulk billed (Medicare conditions apply). For prescriptions, referrals, letters and other documents, these can be emailed to you and prescriptions can be also directed to your nearest pharmacy.

Monday - Friday 8.30 am - 6.00 pm
Satruday 9.00 am - 1.00 pm
AFTER HOURS CALLS
This medical centre uses Doctor Doctor After Hours Doctor Services. They can be contacted on 13 26 60 for afterhours attendance. Home visits are available through Doctor Doctor every night, weekends and public holidays. Consultations are bulked billed.
BILLING
Bulk Billing for all current medicare card holders -
non medicare patients are required to billed cash on the day
Some "facility/medication"charges may applied if a procedure is required which is not covered by Medicare
COMMUNICATION POLICY
All patients are welcomed to call the doctor, staff will take your details and try their best to help you and will only interrupt a consultation if the concern is urgent
RESULTS
All patients are encouraged to make an appointment to discuss their results with a doctor of their choice
NO communication are sent via email.
TELEHEALTH
The practice offers telehealth - as per medicare eligibility.
