Elyse graduated from Griffith University (QLD), with a Bachelor of Exercise Science and a Masters of Physiotherapy in 2015. Since then, Elyse has worked extensively as a Physiotherapist and a Clinical Pilates Instructor in a Sports and Women’s Health area in Melbourne and Perth. Elyse has studied the Masters of Women’s, Men’s and Pelvic Health at Curtin University. Elyse is passionate about pelvic health, especially through pregnancy and the postnatal period. She has a keen interest in helping women return to exercise and sport after having a baby. She also has a special interest in assessing and treating the pelvic and lower back pain. Elyse uses a combination of hands on therapy, education and exercise prescription to get the best possible outcome for her clients. In her spare time, Elyse enjoys pilates, going to the gym, reading a good book on the beach and spending time with friends, family and two dogs.

Growing up Beth enjoyed performing both classical and Jazz Ballet for 7 years, developing a strong skillset around body awareness, fluidity of movement and motor control. Rebecca graduated from Curtin University with a Bachelor of Science (Physiotherapy) in 2018, and is a member of the Vice Chancellor’s list, which recognizes students in the top 1% of their course for excellent academic achievement. Rebecca is currently in the process of completing her Masters in Clinical Physiotherapy (Continence and Pelvic Health Major), after developing a special interest in Women’s Health. Rebecca has 5 years of clinical experience working as a Physiotherapist having worked at some of the most reputable clinics in Sydney. Rebecca is a certified Pilates clinician through the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute and is experienced in running clinical Pilates classes and prescribing individual therapeutic exercises based on each patient’s presentation. Rebecca is also competent in Dry Needling (certified by the Australian Physiotherapy Association), which she incorporates into her treatment as necessary. Dr Tahnee Bell is a Sport and Exercise Medicine registrar who grew up in the South West of Western Australia. She graduated from the University of Western Australia in 2019 and completed her internship at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, followed by experience across multiple WA hospitals in orthopaedics, emergency medicine and general medicine. A former state netball player, she developed an early passion for Sport and Exercise Medicine and is currently undertaking specialist training towards Fellowship of the Australasian College of Sport and Exercise Physicians (ACSEP). Tahnee is currently the team doctor for the Perth Wildcats (NBL) and has previously served as Head Doctor for the West Coast Eagles AFLW and Western Force Super W. She has provided match-day medical support for the Australian Diamonds, Matildas and Hockeyroos, and was Head Doctor for the inaugural Australian women’s national futsal team during international competition in Uzbekistan. She has also been the WA registrar representative within ACSEP. She is a strong advocate for exercise as medicine and preventative health, working collaboratively with patients and healthcare providers to optimise health and performance across all populations. Dr Monica Zheng is a Sports and Exercise Medicine Physician Registrar undertaking her specialist training through the Australasian College of Sport and Exercise Physicians. She is passionate about working with people who are driven by functional improvement in daily activities and performance at recreational, amateur and professional levels. Monica brings a unique background to her sports medicine practice. Her clinical interest in sports began during her previous career as a Podiatrist, where she was involved in fun runs, community netball and rugby tournaments and worked with WA Ballet from 2017-2021. Following her graduation from the University of Notre Dame in 2021 with a Doctor of Medicine, she has gained extensive experience in multiple surgical specialties, including Orthopaedic Surgery, Plastic Surgery, General Surgery (Breast and Hepatobiliary/Transplant) as well as Emergency Medicine and General Medicine terms in the North Metropolitan Health Service. Monica is currently the doctor for the West Coast Eagles AFLW, and has previously been the doctor for East Perth Football Club. She has also provided medical support for WNBL and Racing WA events. She values a multidicisplinary approach to management, involving physiotherapy, podiatry, dietetics amongst other medical and allied health professionals in the care of her patients. Parallel to her clinical career has been involvement in research, with publications in the fields of sports medicine and orthopaedics in tendinomechanobiology, tendinopathy and osteoarthritis. She enjoys expanding her network at conferences nationally and internationally, including at the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), International Association of Dance Medicine and Science (IADMS) and European Congress of Sports and Exercise Physicians (ECOSEP).
