With a career spanning over three decades, Dr Stamatiou has made a significant impact on the lives of countless individuals and families seeking to overcome fertility challenges and address various gynaecological issues. His holistic approach sets him apart as a healthcare professional who understands the emotional and physical aspects of his patient’s experiences.
Dr Stamatiou graduated from the University of Queensland in 1990. He started training in obstetrics and gynaecology in 2001 and was granted a Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2009.
Dr Stamatiou also offers specialised fertility treatments such as: ovarian and uterine platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and testicular sperm aspiration (TESA).
Dr Stamatiou’s gynaecological practice encompasses the management of all general gynaecological conditions, including menstrual disturbances, menopausal conditions, endometriosis, fibroids, prolapse and incontinence. He also has a special interest in robotic laparoscopic surgery.
