Dr. Katrina Ong

Qualifications: B. Optom (Hons)/B, Sci, Cert. in Ocular Therapeutics Katrina is an Optometrist graduated from University of New South Wales, with over 2 decades of clinical, academic and leadership experience. Her interests lie in contact lenses, children’s vision and behavioural optometry and co-management of ocular and systemic conditions such as diabetes and autoimmune disorders. Beyond clinical practice Katrina has contributed to the profession serving on the board of Optometry NSW/ACT for nearly 2 decades including a role as Vice President. She has also supported the next generation of Optometrists as clinic supervisor at UNSW and guest lecturer at Super Sunday and Ski conference. Outside of work, Katrina enjoys spending time with her husband, three children and their cavoodle, loves snowboarding, decorating cakes and reading.
