Candice Cheng

Candice is a dedicated and experienced optometrist in her fifth year of practice. She graduated from the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in 2021 with a Bachelor of Vision Science and a Master of Optometry. With therapeutic endorsement, she is qualified to diagnose and manage a broad range of eye conditions. Candice has a particular passion for paediatric myopia management, helping children slow the progression of short-sightedness through evidence-based treatment strategies. She also has a strong interest in the collaborative management of macular degeneration and glaucoma, working closely with ophthalmologists to provide patients with comprehensive, high-quality eye care. What Candice enjoys most about optometry is building meaningful relationships with patients from all walks of life and empowering them with the knowledge to better understand and care for their vision. She is known for her warm, approachable nature and her commitment to delivering personalised, patient-centred care. Outside the practice, Candice enjoys embracing both her creative and adventurous interests. She loves spending time in nature through hiking, challenging herself with bouldering, expressing her creativity through drawing, and playing the violin. Fluent in both English and Mandarin, Candice is proud to provide accessible and compassionate care to a diverse community of patients.
