Wendy Nicholson

Wendy studied Optometry in Brisbane at QUT, completing her degree in 1989 and graduating with a BAppSc(Optom) with honours (second class). Following graduation Wendy worked in private practice in Brisbane before travelling overseas in 1995 and settling in Toronto, Canada. She joined the Beacon Eye Institute, a laser refractive surgery centre, working in preoperative assessment, surgical assisting and postoperative care. In 1997 Wendy returned to private practice in Sydney and her own practice in Bondi Junction where she continued to work closely with local ophthalmologists in the co-management of laser refractive and cataract surgery patients. On her return to Brisbane in August 2002 she joined the Clarity team at Bulimba.
