Shenara Perera

Shenara is a therapeutically endorsed optometrist from Tasmania who prioritises patient-centred care and focuses on the individual needs of each patient. Having graduated from Deakin University with a Bachelor of Vision Science with Distinction and a Master of Optometry, Shenara distinguishes herself with regional experience and cares for a diverse range of patients of all demographics. Shenara enjoys the full scope of optometry, with a particular clinical interest in co-managing ocular conditions in collaboration with ophthalmologists and GPs. She is passionate about providing holistic eye care, building strong patient rapport, and empowering patients to make informed decisions about their eye health and visual needs. Outside the consulting room, Shenara enjoys playing the violin and spending time with her family and friends.
