Katalin graduated from QUT in 2000 with First Class Honours, worked in rural NSW for 7 years before moving to QLD and has worked for a number of Optometry practices in the Toowoomba region. She has completed a graduate certificate in Ocular Therapeutics, a Practical Vision Therapy certification as well as a certificate in Advanced Contact Lenses. Her interests include dry eye management, myopia control as well as ocular disease management. She believes in treating all patients with compassion and provides high level eye care to her patients, young and the elderly. Outside of work, Katalin enjoys numerous crafts, fitness, and spending time with her family and her cat.

Stephen joined Somerville Merrin Neilson as an Optometrist in 2005 after graduating from Queensland University of Technology with First Class Honours. He completed his Graduate Certificate in Ocular Therapeutics in 2008. As well as providing general eye care to the Toowoomba community, he also has interests in ocular disease management, nursing home eye examinations, and orthokeratology. Prescribing over-night orthokeratology lenses allows patients with myopia (short-sightedness) to see clearly during the day without having to wear glasses. He traveled to Uganda in 2011 on a short-term mission trip to provide eye care in a remote medical clinic. Outside work he enjoys walking, playing the viola, volunteering with his wife on the church coffee team, and raising his young family.

Geoff has been delivering eye care to Toowoomba since 1979 and enjoys that optometry is constantly evolving. He is a member of the Cornea and Contact Lens Society of Australia and works with Guide Dogs Qld at the monthly Low Vision Clinics. The best part of being with this group is that we all bring our own areas of expertise to help each out when needed, and we have the latest technologies to deliver best practice optometry to Toowoomba. Away from work, Geoff enjoys motor racing and fishing, and looking for more ways to enjoy all three.
