Warringal Optometrist was established in 1987 to provide quality, tailored eye care solutions in a relaxed and caring environment. Now 30 years later we continue to build relationships.
We offer comprehensive eye examinations including diagnosis and monitoring of diseases such as glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration and cataract. Our optometrists listen and make appropriate recommendations.
We are a busy contact lens practice, with access to many types of contact lenses including disposables and RGP lenses. With have a special interest in specialty contact lens fittings such as orthokeratology, keretaconus and scleral lenses.
Denise graduated in 1982. She enjoys general optometry and having worn spectacles from an early age understands what most of her patient’s feel and is prepared with the appropriate recommendation. She is a member of the Cornea & Contact lens Society of Australia. In her spare time she enjoys cooking and exploring cuisines from other countries.
She loves attending exercise classes and walking. She also enjoys sewing, knitting and other crafts.
Lino graduated in 1983 and enjoys the challenges that optometry can present. He enjoys fitting contact lenses and is a member of the Orthokeratology society of Oceania and the Cornea & Contact lens Society of Australia. He is therapeutically endorsed and has a keen interest in eye disease diagnosis and monitoring. He appreciates good food and good wine. To keep fit, he cycles and plays squash.
Lucilla graduated in 1982 and enjoys the variety of people that optometry have given her the chance to meet and help. She is a member of the Cornea & Contact lens Society of Australia and enjoys fitting contact lenses especially the new multifocals now available. She is happy to examine any age group: babies to the elderly, taking the time to listen and discuss the best eye care solution. She loves to spend time with family and close friends. She enjoys keeping fit.
We are delighted to welcome Laura the newest member to our team. She is currently teaching optometry including contact lens fitting at The University Melbourne. She enjoys assisting people to achieve their best possible eyesight and has a wealth of knowledge to impart. In her spare time she loves to play the violin and piano, music plays an important part of her life. She enjoys cooking new creations in the kitchen, going for walks with her dog and spending time with family and friends.
