Dr Steven Lam is a comprehensive optometrist with a strong interest in neuro-ophthalmology, myopia control, vision therapy, post-operative care and ocular disease management such as dry eye, allergies, ocular infections, uveitis and glaucoma.
Steven graduated from Optometry at Deakin School of Medicine with an International Golden Key Award and Orthoptics at La Trobe University with the Orthoptics Australia's Leonie Collins award. He has completed clinical training with internships in various locations such as Western Eye Specialist, Royal Children’s Hospital, New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai, Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital, Specsavers and the Australian College of Optometry.
Steven is actively involved in optometry education, who led optometry students from Deakin University and the University of Melbourne as peer mentor, published articles related to ocular eye diseases in the Spectrum Optometry Journal and was a keynote speaker for 2019 Omega Optometry Conference in Melbourne.
