E Eye Place was founded as a greenfield practice in 2016 in the marina estate Port Coogee. We wanted to be able to provide full scope optometric care and specialty offerings, which was tricky in corporate settings. Being independent allowed us to access niche products and provide custom solutions for our patients and clients. E Eye Place is personified by our team – we believe in a humanistic touch in eyecare and eyewear. We are “MAD” – we want to Make A Difference, however big or small. We met each other at optometry school and it is no wonder we live and breathe optometry! Lionel has a flair for ophthalmic dispensing, and Stephanie is always on an ongoing pursuit for more knowledge and expanding her experience in many aspects of optometry – from teaching the next generation of optometrists to contributing to optometric and public health research. Stephanie’s grandfather is the blueprint of who she is – a health practitioner who devoted his entire life to traditional Chinese medicine in his time. We are individualistic but not intimidating, upmarket but family friendly – this vision is true when we penned our first sentence for the practice, and true till today. We believe your sense of sight deserves the best. We are proudly independent, locally owned and fiercely West Australian!
