Telehealth appointments are available for a range of health issues, but if you feel you need direct treatment for an injury or a physical examination you may need to book an in-person appointment.
Pricilla completed a Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of Melbourne which included an internship abroad at the prestigious Illinois College of Optometry. With over 17 years of optical experience, she has worked in a variety of optometric settings as both an optical dispenser and optometrist including regional and interstate practices, public hospital and private ophthalmology clinics.
Having had fast-progressing myopia and binocular vision problems when she was younger, this had led to her special interests in myopia control, binocular vision disorders and specialty contact lenses.
Outside of Vision Care Eye Centre, Pricilla also works at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital’s ophthalmology outpatient clinic. Having the experience of working alongside numerous brilliant ophthalmologists, this has given her extensive knowledge in the detection and management of retinal diseases.
Pricilla is a current Board member of Optometry Western Australia, the President of Early Careers Optometrists Western Australia and an active member of Cornea and Contact Lens Society of Australia (CCLSA) and OrthoKeratology Society of Oceania (OSO).
Apart from her optometry degree, Pricilla also holds a Bachelor of Science (University of Melbourne) with a double major in Microbiology and Immunology and Biotechnology.
Outside of work, you will find Pricilla cooking up a feast, trying new eateries or doing yoga to balance things out.
Pricilla has intermediate proficiency in Cantonese and Mandarin.
