Mr Siva Chandrasekaran is an orthopaedic surgeon specialising in advanced minimally invasive techniques to help reduce recovery time and aid rehabilitation.
He has a clinical interest in hip and knee arthroscopy, robot-assisted joint replacements of the hip and knee, and minimally invasive procedures for abductor and hamstring tears.
After completing his orthopaedics training, Siva undertook post-fellowship training in hip surgery at a number of eminent institutions including the Exeter Hip Unit in the UK, and The American Hip Institute in Chicago. He’s subsequently carried out a year of training in the USA in the use of minimally invasive robot-assisted total hip replacement, and completed a Masters of Surgery in knee ligament injuries.
Outside of his clinical practice, Siva’s actively involved in the education of orthopaedic trainees, and has contributed to over 50 peer-reviewed publications in the field of hip arthroscopy and robotic-assisted surgery.
