David has the professional background to ensure that he is well equipped to understand a full range of complex needs for children and adults. David served in the Department of Health as a mental health clinician in the adult, child & adolescent divisions for many years. To ensure quality service, David completes at least 50 hours of professional development every year to maintain his professional registration with the AASW. David started Milan as a full-time private practice in 2014 and has developed a solid reputation with Doctors, community agencies and Employee Assistance Providers. Regarding individual therapy, David has experience with a wide variety of approaches to help you achieve your empowerment goals including; Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy and the Self Awareness Method®. David wants to help develop the joy in everyone's life! He has a particular interest in improving relationships as a key to happiness. David is committed to strategies that work to help you to gain valuable insight while tailoring simple and effective ways to address any issues. Sessions with David are a collaborative journey.
