Originally from Tasmania, you’ll be well-served knowing that Jenna is Australian-trained, having graduated locally from Griffith University over 10 years ago. Jenna has a gentle and caring approach, with a wealth of experience that she’s gained through working in private clinics across the Gold Coast to Goondiwindi. Jenna has experience across the full scope of dental procedures. She contributes to our team of clinicians in providing check-ups and preventive treatments for children & adults, dental implants, orthodontics with Invisalign® as well as complex dental rehabilitation. Outside of work, Jenna is passionate about quality time with family and friends and the countryside. Jenna likes contact with nature and time in the Gold Coast hinterland.

While Mike enjoyed the tangible, factual aspects of science at school, his move into dental studies was prompted as much by the opportunity to bring together his desire to connect with people (yes, he’s a people person) and working with his hands. Add to that, a deeper desire to make a difference in people’s lives and to make them smile, and he’d found his calling as a dentist. But there’s more to Mike. As an explorer with a desire to experience the world, he’s taken on some pretty incredible adventures. Think volunteer work in Ethiopia, standing over bubbling volcanic lava lakes, swimming with whale sharks, hiking the Himalayas. Now, having settled on the Gold Coast, he’s also living out his weekend athletic aspirations as a cricketer and soccer player with local clubs. The great thing is, Mike’s travel adventures and athletic exploits have enriched his life and he loves to bring this to his patients.

I was born in South Korea and moved to Australia in my teenage years. After completing high school on the Gold Coast, I was influenced to venture down the same path as my family, who were all passionate healthcare professionals. I knew I wanted to care for those in need and was particularly drawn to dentistry as I was captivated by the profound impact of restoring and reconstructing people’s smiles. Yvonne graduated from Griffith University with a Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Science and a Graduate Diploma of Dentistry in 2018. Since that time, she’s gained a wealth of experience having worked in private practice across both metropolitan and rural Queensland.

I’m from Malaysia and came to Australia to study. Although I’ve travelled widely since, I am pleased to say I now call Australia home. It’s helped me realise my professional goals in ways I didn’t imagine. After graduating from the University of Queensland with Honours, I didn’t want it to stop there. So I continually love to keep at the forefront of knowledge with an abundance of continuing education, which for me, will never stop. Unlike a lot of kids growing up, I always knew I wanted to work in healthcare. Dentistry held a special appeal for me because without knowing a whole lot about it before starting, I felt it would allow me to incorporate science with practical hands-on work with patients. Having now been practising for a while, I can report that it has definitely done that. The thing that’s surprised me most is how attached to the patients you become. I didn’t realise the kind of satisfaction you’d feel when you help them achieve their goals. They definitely don’t teach you this in dental school!
