She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in clinical Dentistry (Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics) at the prestigious King’s College London, further enhancing her expertise in complex restorative treatments. Her professional interests include oral surgeries, fullmouth rehabilitations, and advanced prosthodontics, allowing her to deliver comprehensive solutions for even the most challenging cases. As a child, Dr Silas was drawn to biology and knew from an early age that health care was where he wanted to further his studies. He loves bringing a smile to someone’s face. Whether it’s relieving a patient from a toothache or helping a patient smile with confidence, Dr Silas loves helping others. He prides himself on the quality of his work and handling the comfort of his patients throughout dental procedures. PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT Dentistry is a career that requires lifelong learning and Dr Silas goes above and beyond to ensure that he is continually upgrading his skills. He takes professional development courses two to three times a year because he wants to give his patients the very best in dental care. Dr Silas has taken courses in restorative, adhesive and CEREC (same-day ceramic restorations) dentistry. Dr Silas Prashant graduated in India with his BDS in 2001. Looking for a better balance between work and family, he relocated to Australia and took the Australian Dental Council Examination. Dr Silas has been a member of the Australian Dental Association since 2007. When he’s not at First Impressions Dental he is helping patients at our Cedric Street Dental sister site. ON A PERSONAL NOTE Outside of providing top-quality dental care, Dr Silas enjoys spending time with his wonderful wife and two young sons. He enjoys gardening and has recently taken up fishing.
