Maekayla brings a wealth of experience as an optometrist, having worked in diverse settings ranging from rural communities to the city. Her career spans a variety of roles, including providing eyecare across NSW optometry practices, rural hospitals, correctional facilities, nursing homes, schools; all with a focus on ensuring that eye care services are accessible to all individuals. For Maekayla, there is no greater joy than serving her community and ensuring that every patient who sits in her chair leaves with a better understanding of their eye health.
