Api completed her Master of Clinical Optometry and Bachelor of Vision Science, with Ocular Therapeutics qualifications at the University of NSW. Api started practicing in 2022 in the regional town of Dubbo, where she had the opportunity to immerse herself in the community and gain valuable experience in optometry. She has interest in eye diseases, contact lenses, and myopia management and has volunteering experience in Fiji. Outside of work, Api loves being out in nature and trying new things— whether it’s exploring new hobbies or just discovering a hidden hiking spot, and spending time with her family.
