Amy Yates is an APA-registered physiotherapist with over 25 years of clinical experience. Her career has spanned osteoporosis management, women’s health, chronic pain, clinical Pilates, and strength-based rehabilitation. She holds qualifications in physiotherapy, public health, nutrition and group fitness.
Amy’s professional passion lies in strength training for bone health and healthy ageing, with a particular focus on supporting women through perimenopause and beyond. She is known for translating complex science into safe, progressive, and empowering programs that build both confidence and physical capacity.
Through her work, Amy has seen first-hand the unique power of well-designed group training to motivate, educate, and support women to remain consistent with strength training over the long term. This philosophy underpins Together Strong: that community, expert coaching, and progressive loading—delivered in a premium, supportive environment—create meaningful and lasting change.
Amy co-founded Together Strong after recognising a growing need in the community for professional, contemporary, and personalised support to help women maximise the outcomes of their exercise.
