Josh is a physiotherapist and strength and conditioning coach who specialises in high performance rehabilitation for youth, amateur and semi professional athletes. With over a decade of combined experience across clinical practice, athletic development and coaching, he works where physiotherapy and performance genuinely meet.
Josh’s approach is shaped by dynamic systems theory and the Constraint Led Approach, using attractor development, strength progressions and movement variability to build athletes who can tolerate pressure, adapt in real time and handle the demands of sport.
His background in competitive swimming, cricket, football and powerlifting gives him firsthand insight into the training loads, setbacks and performance expectations athletes face. He uses a structured, systemised process that progresses athletes from early capacity building to the technical, tactical and physical demands required for return to play.
Josh has spent several years as the physiotherapist for the NSW Universities Rugby League program and works within private sector rugby league pathways. This includes supporting athletes across junior development squads through to senior competitions. He combines evidence informed practice with a performance driven lens.
The goal is simple. Build clarity. Build capacity. Build athletes who return to their sport stronger, smarter and fully prepared for the demands ahead
