Our founder, Jacob Kruger, is a dedicated and highly experienced Sports Physiotherapist with over 15 years in the field. Originally from South Africa, Jacob and his family relocated to Sydney, Australia in 2019, bringing with him a wealth of international expertise in elite sports rehabilitation and injury management.
Jacob has served as Lead Physiotherapist for a wide range of state, national, and international teams across sporting disciplines including rugby, netball, cricket, athletics, hockey, and triathlon. His leadership extended beyond treatment — managing multidisciplinary medical teams for major institutions like North West University (NWU) Sports, and overseeing the largest Sport and Orthopaedic Rehabilitation Clinic in his home state.
He has worked closely with orthopaedic surgeons, sports doctors, dietitians, podiatrists, exercise physiologists, sports scientists, and radiologists, providing integrated care for both professional athletes and everyday clients.
In addition to his clinical accomplishments, Jacob brings the unique insight of a high-performing athlete himself. He has represented at a state level in rugby, athletics, and biathlon, and internationally for South Africa at the 70.3 Ironman World Triathlon Championship. Now proudly calling Australia home, Jacob has continued to pursue competitive sport, representing New South Wales and Australia in Masters Athletics, and is the 2025 Australian National Champion in the 800m (Masters age group).
Whether you’re an elite competitor, a weekend warrior, or recovering from surgery or injury, Jacob’s tailored, evidence-based approach ensures every client receives the highest standard of care — rooted in experience, backed by science, and driven by a genuine passion for performance and recovery.
