Tyla Cloughessy

Tyla completed a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science at Charles Darwin University and a Master of Physiotherapy at Flinders University in South Australia. She has since built extensive experience working in private practice and acute hospital settings throughout the Northern Territory and South Australia. Tyla works with a diverse range of clients, from athletes to individuals across all types of employment from tradespeople to office workers. She manages a broad spectrum of conditions, from acute injuries to complex chronic presentations. Her clinical experience spans multiple sports including AFL, netball, soccer, distance running, CrossFit and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. She has a particular interest in sporting injuries, lower back pain and post-surgical rehabilitation. Tyla has also developed a strong personal interest in treating runners, having completed her own marathon in 2024. Tyla is qualified in dry needling and uses a range of manual therapies alongside exercise and mobility exercises to treat her patients. Tyla takes a collaborative and goal-oriented approach to physiotherapy, tailoring treatment and rehabilitation programs to each individual’s needs, lifestyle and expectations. She is passionate about helping people return to what they enjoy; whether that’s sport, work, or simply moving better in everyday life.
