Alyssa is a physiotherapist at RoboFit Brisbane. Originally from Canada, she moved to the Gold Coast to complete her Doctor of Physiotherapy and has since developed experience working with a wide range of neurological populations. Her interest in neurorehabilitation began during her early work in stroke and traumatic brain injury recovery and has continued to evolve through her roles within both clinic and community settings. Alongside her neuro work, she has also supported AFL athletes, further strengthening her skills in movement analysis and performance-based rehabilitation.
Alyssa takes a collaborative, evidence-based approach to physiotherapy, with a focus on empowering each person to work towards their goals in a way that feels meaningful and achievable. Her particular areas of interest include stroke, traumatic brain injury, vestibular conditions, and progressive neurological disorders.
Alyssa prides herself on being an enthusiastic and approachable practitioner. She’s a big believer that rehab should be both purposeful AND fun. Clients can expect sessions to be goal-oriented, engaging, and tailored to their interests and strengths. Her aim is to make physiotherapy something that clients look forward to, while supporting them to push their boundaries safely and confidently.
