Bailee completed her Masters of Physiotherapy at Swinburne University in 2023 and obtained her Bachelor of Health Sciences in 2020, where she majored in Anatomy and Physiology. Bailee joined the Exercise Thought Team as a Concierge in early 2020 and now leads the Traffic Light System (our in-house client results monitoring system). Bailee has already begun practicing her physiotherapy skills by providing hands-on treatments and exercise sessions for clients alongside her physiotherapist colleagues. Bailee is known for her intuitive understanding of people from all walks of life and for her AFL footy tipping prowess. Bailee has a clinical interest in football injuries and in pelvic/women’s health. Aside from Exercise Thought, Bailee works as a Sports Trainer at Mount Evelyn Football Club where she manages injuries, straps ankles & gives remedial massage to reduce the risk of injury and return players to sport after injury.

Ben Ursich

Ben obtained his undergraduate physiotherapy degree at La Troube University. He then later completed a Master of Physiotherapy Practice, where he did a research project on management of falls and balance. Prior to studying in Australia, Ben was awarded a two-year basketball scholarship to study spent at Augusta University in America. Outside of physiotherapy, Ben has been playing basketball for the Kilsyth Cobras for fourteen years and made it to the NBL1 competition. Ben has an interest in sporting injuries and has already been running the 3:1 exercise classes at Exercise Thought. Meet Ben at Castella Street in Lilydale.

*Sam was awarded Physiotherapist of the Year 2022 at Australia’s Allied Health Awards Sam loves physiotherapy. Sam obtained his undergraduate physiotherapy degree at Monash University and wrote an Honour thesis on use of isometric exercise for treating tendon pain. In 2020, Sam completed postgraduate studies that place him in the top 8% of Australian physiotherapists. Sam’s minor thesis in this postgraduate degree studies the effect that a physiotherapist’s words have on a person’s pain and performance. Sam teaches physiotherapy students through Monash University, The University of Melbourne, La Trobe University and Swinburne University of Technology. Sam has served as the Vice-President of two councils for the Australian Physiotherapy Association - the Victorian Branch Council and the Victorian Business Council. In the formative years of his career, Sam consulted through a large sports medicine clinic in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne and assisted the medical team at the Western Bulldogs (including the 2016 triple-premiership year). Sam has always delivered private consultations and group consultations (the later being a combination of pilates classes and Over60s classes). In recent years, Sam has supervised research at Monash University and consulted privately at local aged-care facilities while maintaining a full-time clinical load. Outside of physiotherapy, Sam is a member of Inverloch Surf Life Saving Club (volunteering as a rescue swimmer with the Westpac Lifesaver Rescue Helicopter Service for six summers) and has toured Russia (twice) as a humanitarian clown visiting hospitals, orphanages & schools with Dr. Patch Adams and

Rachel Ewart

Rachel completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy with Honours in 2000 and immediately commenced working with the physiotherapy team at a multidisciplinary Sports Medicine Clinic. In 2003 she completed Levels 1-4 of Clinical Pilates training and from 2004-2008 she worked at Dance Medicine Australia in South Yarra, a dedicated Clinical Pilates practice. Whilst at DMA, in addition to utilising Clinical Pilates as a treatment for injuries, Rachel assisted in the teaching of Pilates courses to fitness instructors. In 2008 Rachel returned full time to Sports Medicine and commenced teaching individual and group Clinical Pilates classes. Rachel enjoys treating a variety of musculoskeletal injuries, particularly spinal injuries. With her background in classical ballet and dance she has a particular interest in treating performing artists and musicians. Rachel believes in educating and empowering patients so that they are able to assist in their own recovery and prevention of future injuries. She enjoys creating individualised Clinical Pilates/Clinical Exercise programs to assist with injury rehabilitation and also performance enhancement. Rachel is also trained in the use of Real Time Ultrasound Assessment of deep abdominals and pelvic floor, the use of Shockwave Therapy to assist with tendon recovery, and dry needling. Outside of work Rachel enjoys spending time with her husband and young son, catching up with friends, eating out and attending theatre/musical performances. Cameron Brown

Cameron Brown has extensive knowledge and experience as a Physiotherapist after working in private practice for over 13-years across the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. Cameron graduated from the University of Melbourne with an Honours degree in 2009. He thrives on working with his clients to achieve their optimal physical performance and goals. He believes in a holistic approach to Physiotherapy care which includes listening to clients needs, goal setting, a strong education and the delivery of expert hands on therapy and exercise programs. In Cameron’s time volunteering for the Richmond AFL Football Club, and providing professional services to many of the local sporting clubs, Cameron has built a strong knowledge and understanding of what it takes to prepare for both a casual and elite level of sports participation. As a former Baseball and Cricket player and with a good knowledge of throwing technique, Cameron has established good skills in the diagnosis and rehabilitation of shoulder injury. He has recently completed the Good life with Osteoarthritis:Denmark (GLA-D) course, a specialist program of education and exercise aimed at teaching participants to manage Osteoarthritis for hips and knees, allowing them to self manage and avoid the need for surgical intervention. In his spare time he is active in the garden, enjoys fishing and his mighty Tigers in the AFL.
