  • Nahum (whose name rhymes with ‘Graham’) sees adolescents, adults, and couples. He is skilled in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), interpersonal therapy (IPT), emotion focussed therapy (EFT) and the Gottman Method. Nahum can help with anxiety, depression, stress and burnout, anger management, relationship conflict, ADHD, Aspergers, addictive behaviours, sleep problems, and living with a chronic condition. Nahum works intuitively and intelligently to offer a range of strategies. He loves helping people find (or rediscover) joy and purpose, and productively bring these into their work and personal lives. He loves supporting couples and families. Whether Nahum is working with individuals, couples, teams or organisations, his aim is to help people live happier, more connected lives. Nahum has been a fully registered psychologist since 2010, holds a B.A. (in Psychology) Hons, M.Ed.(Educational Theory and Practice), and has recently completed a second Masters in Psychology. He has over 20 years experience in private, educational, community and corporate settings. He was a School-based Psychologist for many years at John Paul College in Brisbane. He has also worked as a counsellor and educator at Centacare, a Corporate Coach, a researcher, and as a youth facilitator in various schools. Nahum has provided professional supervision for many early-career counsellors and psychologists. Nahum’s research on wellbeing, social connection, and sleep quality is published in journals such as the International Journal of Social Psychiatry. He is an ongoing contributor to online wellbeing publications, including the Flourishing At School blog. Nahum ‘juggles’ his counselling, coaching, workplace mediation and speaking engagements with being a father of two and a husband of one. He loves gardening and trying to jump as high as his kids on the trampoline! Nahum has a very warm and friendly personality that will make you feel immediately at ease.
