Dr Brendan Gunalingam is an experienced Interventional Cardiologist with over 18 years experience in complex coronary interventional procedures, along with experience in structural heart interventions and certain peripheral interventions. He is also an International Proctor for LAA occlusion with the ‘Watchman’ device. Techniques that he specialises in include: -Diagnostic Coronary Angiography and Right Heart Catheterisation -Coronary Angioplasty and Stent procedures -Rotational Atherectomy -FFR and IVUS assessment of coronary vasculature -Chronic Total Occlusion revascularisation -ASD and PFO closure -Left Atrial Appendage closure procedures and valvuloplasties. He also holds Level B Accreditation as a CTCA Specialist, and is experienced in non-invasive cardiovascular evaluation including stress testing, transthoracic echocardiography and holter monitor evaluation.
