  • Jennifer graduated from La Trobe University in 2018 and has extensive ice and snow physiotherapy experience. She is the Melbourne Mustangs Men’s Ice Hockey Team Physiotherapist in the Australian Ice Hockey League (AIHL), Melbourne Women’s Ice Hockey State Team Physiotherapist, and Melbourne Ice Women’s Ice Hockey Team Physiotherapist in the Australian Women’s Ice Hockey League (AWIHL). She is also very familiar with figure skating as she grew up ice dancing in Toronto, Canada. She is no Tessa Virtue but she can appreciate the complexity and talent of ice dancing. You can glissé on ice or on the floor into her exercise classes. She grew up dancing for 18 years and is familiar with 15 different styles. She performed in musical theatre in London, Ontario (Canada). Jennifer is passionate about optimising the management of athletes at all levels - from recreational to elite. She can help a regular gym-goer create better structure for results in physical fitness and help an athlete maintain fitness or performance level. She does so by strategically choosing the optimal treatment combination of manual therapy, dry needling, advice for injury prevention and recovery and/or strengthening and conditioning. Jennifer has an interest in hip and knee osteoarthritis as she has completed the Good Living Osteoarthritis Denmark (GLA:D) training. She is extremely competent in managing post-surgical joint replacements due to arthritis and acute orthopaedic injuries to the shoulder, elbow, knee, and hip. Outside of work Jennifer is an outdoor sports enthusiast. She can be found backcountry skiing at Hotham, rock climbing at Mount Arapiles, SUPing at Lake Eildon, kayaking on the Yarra or cycling around Melbourne. She recently completed the 100km Around the Bay cycling event and loves to talk about cycling or outdoor expeditions. Availability: Mondays (till 2pm), Thursdays (pm). Memberships: Australian Physiotherapy Association, Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Association, and Australian Strength and Conditioning Association (ASCA).
