Kate completed her Master degree in Clinical Psychology at Edith Cowan University, and has attained endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist with the Psychological Board of Australia.
She has had clinical experience in a range of settings, including private practice as well as rehabilitation and hospitals, and has worked with individuals across the lifespan.
Kate has experience working with trauma and is trained in
- Eye-Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR).
In session, she utilises a range of evidence-based therapies including
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT),
- Psychodynamic Therapy,
- Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT),
- Exposure-based Response Prevention Therapy
- Dialectic Behavioural Therapy (DBT).
Kate is committed to providing the highest quality service to each of her clients. She believes it is vital that clinicians work in a respectful and collaborative manner with clients, walking alongside them ever-mindful of their own personal values.
