Hi there! It can be a difficult step to reach out to a professional for therapy or counselling, and I respect this. It is truly great to have you here. My main approach to therapy is to provide a safe space for all my clients to express and explore their experiences and struggles, to help them live meaningful and fulfilling lives. My clients generally commend me for my non-judgmental and warm approach.
I am a qualified Clinical Psychologist with a broad range of experience working in private practice, hospital, and university settings. I am effective at utilising various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, Psychodynamic, Solutions Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Supportive and motivational therapy, Somatic-based therapies, and Mindfulness-based therapies. I draw on these evidence-based modalities in a flexible and eclectic manner depending on my client's needs and goals. I have worked with diverse range of individuals, of all ages and from all walks of life, though I currently only focus on seeing adults and young adults. As a mother to young children, I also have a special interest in working with new mothers and parent figures in navigating the challenges of this life transition, matrescence/patrescence and parenting.
