Our team have an extensive knowledge of eyewear, optics and frame fashion.

We love what we do and it shows. Occhiali Optometrist has been an optometrist in the same location, Ponsonby Three Lamps, for over 60 years. In 2021 we opened a brand new optometry location in the new Stoneridge on Lunn in Mount Wellington. We know our industry like the back of our eyes and our Optometrist Director holds council as a council member of the NZAO (New Zealand Association of Optometrists), amongst a handful of selected Optometrists in New Zealand. Our team have an extensive knowledge of eyewear, optics and frame fashion and our optometrists are therapeutically qualified, with a special interest in contact lenses and dry eye therapy. Local owner and operator Renata Watene concentrates on building lasting relationships and real rapport with her patients. With 17 years experience in optics, she is a dedicated optometrist committed to the health of your eyes. Nikita Smith is a therapeutically qualified optometrist, who graduated with honours from the University of Auckland in 2017. She also holds a Bachelor of Biomedical Science specializing in neurobiology. She is passionate about eye health and dedicated to providing comprehensive vision care solutions to meet your individual needs.
