What Health Hub Means for Your Practice

With the launch of the Health Hub, MyHealth1st is offering a new tool to healthcare professionals to connect with and educate the Australian public about health issues that may affect them.

Rather than being a tool for self diagnosis, the Health Hub has been designed to be a tool for people to come to understand their own health, risks and symptoms then easily book an appointment with an appropriate provider or specialist.

We’re also aiming to create a leading educational healthcare portal intended to be used as a tool by Healthcare practitioners. We’re putting together a knowledge base so you can refer your patients to Health Hub for extra information, tips on how to stay healthy, how to identify or alleviate symptoms, and even successful case studies from patients on their own health journeys.

Early diagnosis and intervention can be exceedingly important when it comes to healthcare, as a number of conditions can be alleviated or controlled before the damage becomes permanent or the situation becomes critical.

By providing information on a range of conditions, symptoms and risks, as well as explanations and guides detailing healthy practices, Health Hub seeks to help patients and practitioners alike pro-actively manage their health.

MyHealth1st Needs You

Our editorial team is hard at work creating valuable content for the portal and our medical advisors are ensuring that everything we post is accurate, however the hub is still young, and we are limited in how much new content we can produce each and every week.

This is where you come in.

With the traffic to the Health Hub growing exponentially, MyHealth1st is inviting you to consider the Health Hub as a platform for you to disseminate your own ideas.

If you have a topic, opinion piece, study or article you’d like to share with patients from across Australia and New Zealand, please get in touch. All submitted articles will link back to your profile on MyHealth1st, in turn increasing your visibility and new patient appointments.
